Story of MG Farina Magnette, Chassis Number 13864
MG Magnette Mk3. Chassis number 13864, engine number 13996. RHD. This MG has only had two owners from new. A Miss Lilian Ann Entrican purchased the car in Northern Ireland, UK, and registered it as '4973AZ' on 1st September 1960. She used the red MG saloon car very little, and on the 7th May 1982, with just 9,750 miles, it was purchased by James McMordie, of Newtownards, N.Ireland. The car is so good it was shown in the 1982 MG Exhibition at the Ulster Transport Museum, Coitra, N. Ireland. Mr. McMordie also runs another Farina, a blue 1969 Wolseley 16/60.
