Story of MG Farina Magnette, Chassis Number 15599
MG Magnette Mk3. Chassis number 15599, engine 15644. RHD. The last known existing Mk3 Magnette, and exported to New Zealand. By the time it was registered in NZ, the later Mk4 Magnette was being sold in the UK, September 1961. Owned by Bill Simpkin of Dorgaville, NZ. The MG was in poor condition when Bill took it on in 1995, and it shares a garage with a 1968 Riley Kestrel 1100.
