Magnette Mk. IV Storybook

Story of MG Farina Magnette, Chassis Number 19078

MG Magnette Mk4. Chassis number 19078, engine unknown. This two tone green and white MG started out with an owner who lived in Kent, in England, registered on 2nd of July 1962. It was sold by University Motors of Middlesex, with a unknown 'MG' number plate, but this had been 'sold' by the time the present owner purchased the car in August 1994. The car then wore registration 'OSK667', and all UK enthusiasts know such a 'SK' plate means the car had been re-registered. Purchased by Edi Stockli of Basel, Switzerland, a MG enthusiast, the car had been restored bodily. Edi has now finished the engine, which is the original, ( Edi, send me the engine's number please, Neil.) Along with a MGB GT 2+2, and MGB Roadster, the 73,600 mile MG saloon enjoys a pleasant semi-retirement. Early in its life a Webasco folding sun roof was fitted.
