Story of MG Farina Magnette, Chassis Number 193
MG Magnette Mk3. Chassis number 193, engine 249. RHD. OLDEST known Farina still on the road, in the world. Purchased by Mr. Walter Brighton, brand-new, and registered on 1st March 1959, with registration number '5125AH', in Norwich, England. Colours are not in the original roof/boot/rear fins layout, resprayed in the original iris blue/royal blue two tone, but split along the side chrome trim instead. Given to the purchaser's grandson in 1984, and still run by him, Mr. Darren Wright. The car has covered only 40,000 miles with the same family, in nearly 40 years.
