Story of MG Farina Magnette, Chassis Number 23520
MG Magnette Mk4. Chassis number 23520, engine number 6858. RHD. As a complete opposite to story 23323, this rare Automatic pale blue MG from Australia has had a rough life. The car is complete, was built in 1964, but little else is known about its busy life in the huge island continent. Found with 43,500 miles, it is undergoing a full rebuild by the present owner, Ross Hockley of 'Ross A Hockey Autos', Brookvale, New South Wales. He has run the car for over eight years now, and has found a Wolseley 12/80 Farina, ( a six cylinder, three speed version of our Farina, only built by BMC Australia.) He is using this Wolseley as a donor car. The other classic car in the garage is a 1972 Jensen Healey.
