I own a 61 Austin Healey Sprite, which I am installing a Chevy v-8 and also customizing by installing the Bug-eye rear quarter and leaving the Sprite trunk lid in place. I've located a factory hard top which I plan to install. The finished product will be painted with the new Du Pont Chromalusion finish, which will give it a holographic, psychedelic look. Update March 2002: Gary has completed both bug eyes: the 1959 and 1961. He is presently doing a 1974 Volkswagon convertible with factory A/C. |
