For fans of the Reprinted Articles, the mid-month one has been released. Apologies for the late addition but I forgot with the exuberance over releasing the film clips from "Heights of Danger"! No excuse for poor performance on my part, so here you are! It is a reprint from the October 2009 edition of Oldtimer Markt called "Ypsilon-Tours". Although in German, it does have some great photographs in it for the non-linguists!

Two new items have been added to the Collectibles page: a postcard from Great Malvern courtesy of Mike Ash, and the picture of the Y Type identified by Peter Wilgoss in January 2011 on the Bulletin Board. Thank you both for these contributions.

For the curious among us, the audio file on the Welcome page is Marc Hanson in YB 0414 tackling the timed lap track at London's Crystal Palace in May 2010. The full video is available on the Ys on Film and other media page.

1 March 2011

We begin this month with a note of thanks from Tony Slattery, International MG Y Type Register Representative for Australia.

The members and friends of the MG Car Club of Queensland would like to thank you for your support in our appeal for funds to rebuild and help our members following the flood in January 2011. Your support and financial help has allowed the club and those personally affected to look forward and restore the faith, that we can all make a difference in supporting our friends when times get tough. Our thoughts go out to our friends in New Zealand now, and hope they too can receive your support and encouragement.

The Picture of the Month this month is again from Australia - Tasmania in fact - and from Andrew and Kathy Totham with their Grandfather and 'Maud'.

The Reprinted Article Reprinted Article comes from Motoring magazine, May 1953 and covers MGs victory in the RAC Coronation Rally.
