Today please welcome Ian and David Cornish and Y 0264 to Ys on Parade. Y 0264 now takes the honour of being the oldest Y on Ys on Parade from Keith and Sandra Harris's Y 0272! It is also the 200th car from the UK on the gallery too. Thank you Ian and David for sharing your car with us and the International MG Y Type Register will fully support all your technical needs should you decide to restore this excellent early MG Y.
15 March 2013
After seven years (yes it was back in March 2005 when we began to release two Reprinted Articles) it has been suggested that we reduce the overload of new items on the first day of each month by not releasing a Reprinted Article. Instead this will now only be published in the middle of each month. For those of you who have enjoyed this feature, do not worry as I still have over two year's worth of material to bring you. During that time I am sure there will be more material, both old and new coming to my attention through the continued research and acquisition of magazines. So, with no further ado, this month's Reprinted Article comes from Thoroughbred and Classic Cars, April 1982, and is entitled "M.G. Saloon Cars 1924 to 1982". We hope you enjoy reading it and learning about some of the other great Saloon cars MG made over the years as well as our beloved Y Type!
10 March 2013
An interesting photograph turned up on eBay recently, and this has now been added to the Collectibles page too.
9 March 2013
Today please welcome Kurt Mastbooms with YB 1214 to Ys on Parade. Kurt's car makes a reunion with YB 1215, and also takes our total number of YBs to 130 (which is, of course just below 10% of ALL YB production!), and all Ys on Parade to 550!! Quite significant milestones so thank you everyone for sharing your cars with us all.
A new retrospective story has been added to Stories from the rear view mirror for AEB 59. Also, two new items have been added to the Collectibles page too.
8 March 2013
Today please welcome Andries Fourie and Y 1958 to Ys on Parade.
1 March 2013
Today please welcome Dr. Hans-Joachim Mueller, the new owners of Y 0602 to Ys on Parade.
