It is with the deepest regret that I have to inform you all of the sudden loss of one of the founding members of the International MG Y Type Register and my inestimable colleague, David Pelham. David was an inspiration to many Y owners and we are all devastated here as you can imagine. Only Thursday of this week, I was on one of my many regular calls to David and he was so looking forward to the Sommertreff meeting in July. I have lost my best friend.

Our thoughts, and prayers and condolences go out to his wife Shirley, and daughters Carole and Kirsty.

A thread has been started on the Bulletin Board where you are welcome to leave your memories of one of the truly great men who have contributed to our cars and stopped at nothing to help owners and prospective owners.

David's family have asked me to post details about his funeral arrangements. These are attached below. Meanwhile, please continue to leave your tributes to David on the thread on the Bulletin Board. If you have problems posting your comments, please email them to me and I will get them posted for you.

Davidís funeral will take place at 1:30pm (13.30) on Monday 15th July at Surrey and Sussex Crematorium, Balcombe Road, Pound Hill, Crawley, Sussex, RH10 3NQ. If you can, please come in your MG or other classic cars.

This is probably the hardest month's news page I have ever had to put together and I make no apologies for the personal nature of my opening note, nor for this month's Picture of the Month.
