Once a year the Lincolnshire Centre of the MG Car Club hold an Annual General Meeting. At the meeting attending members can hear an outline of the past years events, a review of the Centre's accounts and other points of interest.

A very important part of the meeting however is to elect next year's officers and committee. From Chairman to committee member these are the volunteers who will be responsible for ensuring that during the next 12 months the Centre perfoms the duties required of it by it's members. Primarily these are to organise events that allow members to enjoy their cars to the full whilst ensuring the bank account balance remains in a positive direction

Naturally volunteers are always desperately needed to fullfil these positions and help with the organisation of our Centre. If you feel you would like to help and be involved with the committee/officers then please fill in the nomination form and return it to the present Centre Secretary, I can assure you that you will be made more than welcome. Over many years I have learnt the old saying which is that you get out of a club the same as you are willing to put in, I find this to be exactly the case.

Finally whilst some members are willing to help out with events they will not perhaps want the responsibilty of serving on the committee. This is equally as important as being a representitive on the committee and again the Lincolnshire Centre would be very pleased to welcome any efforts being offered.
