The Lincoln Natter

On the 4th Tuesday of every month the Lincoln Natter is held at the The Ferryboat Inn High Street Washingborough Lincoln LN4 1AZ Located just outside Lincoln in Washingborough is the Ferry Boat Inn, a pub that prides itself on serving up delicious pub classics for very reasonable prices.

22 members attended the launch night at the Lincoln Natter’s new venue, The Lincolnshire Poacher. It was a warm summer’s evening and the MGs sitting in the car park were gleaming away nicely.	There was an eclectic mix of MGs out that night for the Member's Choice. Everyone found it good fun looking at all the MGs and deciding which ones they liked.
By the end of the night everyone had handed in their score sheets and it was up to Emma to add up the points. After a little while the results were announced by Joe and were as follows:

Roger & Anne O'Neill were the organisers of the Ferry Boat Landlord's Choice 2013 and there was a new Landlord to choose the "MG he would most like to own" from the lovely selection on show . . .

Thorpe Camp Visit
Sunday 28 April 2013

Organised by Roger & Anne O'Neill the visit to Thorpe Camp on the afternoon of Sunday 28 April was enjoyed by Lincolnshire Centre members and attracted 14 MGs. Everyone relaxed and enjoyed themselves.

Member's Choice Evening - Friday 7 September 2012

Friday 7^th September was the first Members Choice Night held at the Ferry Boat Natter. Again there was a lot of support and 17 cars were on display for members to choose from. Members were given forms and asked to choose their 5 favourite cars from the ones in the car park. There was a very diverse selection. Then, once the choices had been made, Pete and Emma worked out the 5 cars that had the most votes.

Well Done to those five.  The winning rosette was presented to Mick Bath by Emma. The Second and Third place rosettes will be sent in the post to Ian Thomson and Brian Clifton. A big thank you to all who took part and showed their support to this natter. Thank you also to the Natter leaders who helped the evening run smoothly.

Finally a big thank you goes to Lee Woodall’s son Dan for all his help. Pete presented Dan with an MG pen kindly donated by Roger.

Social Drive 2 July 2010

Organised by Pete Lincoln, the Social Drive left the Horse & Jockey on a scenic route which included a ford - not the car! - a wet ford.

As you will see, some people drove more carefully through the ford than others!
