The (Cross Keys) Wolds Natter

This venue has changed

Sadly the Swallow Inn has closed down and our natter has now found a new venue

Cross Keys Inn at Grasby

We have also chosen another name and we will now be called

The Wolds Natter

Here is a note from Keith about the change of Natter Venue.

Several of the natter members have been busy lately researching potential replacements for the Swallow Inn, Visiting pubs every lunchtime can get quite tiring!
In the end the natter members as a whole have settled upon the Cross Keys Inn at Grasby as our "home" for the future. It has been very tricky finding a location that has the facilities we need; who are willing to have us on the 1st Wednesday of every month and at the same time trying to minimise the inconvenience to members regarding travel times and distances. We cannot hope to satisfy everyone but we believe this is the best compromise, but only time will tell for sure.
The Cross Keys is located approx 3.5 miles past Caistor on the A1084 Caistor to Brigg road, at the Grasby crossroads. The post code is DN38 6AQ and telephone is 01652 628247. We plan to make our first visit there on our January natter night, 6th January 2016. Since we have missed our Xmas dinner we are also planning to hold a natter "seasonal dinner" on the 3rd February, our  natter night.
Once this decision was made we then had to look at our natter name. Given the problems we have experienced regarding our venue we feel is better to name the natter on our regional location. If we have to move home again then at least we will not have to keep changing the name!  To this end we would like to rename our natter the "Wolds natter". Hopefully everyone will understand the reasoning behind this decision.
I hope all the above makes sense, if anyone has any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

Welsh Tour 2013
MG Car Club Lincolnshire Centre's Swallow Natter organised a Tour of mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons for 2013

The MG6 Diesel Open Day at Hartwell MG Grimsby was supported by the Swallow Natter of the MG Car Club Lincolnshire Centre!

Phil Dean brought his beautiful ZA Magnette along with the LE500 & 85th Anniversary MGTF's of Dave Moir and Keith Robinson. Phil's ZA had pride of place in the new showroom and the opening was attended by the MDs of MG Motors and Hartwell UK. There were both T & Magnette models of the MG6 on display.
The day went extremely well (3 new MG6s were sold) and we were made very welcome . . .
