  • New S.E. Centre Website.

    The S.E. Centre website is to have a total overhaul and be re launched. Ben Hill has developed the new site and has also agreed to take on the role of Webmaster. The development is at an advanced stage and will be  very soon. The new site will have a modern look and offer many new features to subscribers and menbers.

    As Ben is now finalising and bringing the site up to date please COPY all FUTURE information, flyers, booking forms etc to Ben in addition to me.

  • Autumn Naviscat Results

    In the event the weather was very kind to us, the pubs were very accommodating and we had 12 competing cars
    It should be noted that one of the competitors was an Austin 7 box saloon came all the way from Towcester that morning with three-up.
    They arrived at the start on time, despite having been delayed by an open Tower Bridge and scored very highly!

    Final - Round 3 - The Three Horseshoes
    Final round took place at The Three Horseshoes Club Meeting on 17th July.
    19 Cars attended the meeting with 17 entering the informal competition. Winners are as follows


    Final Results Round 3
    Best Restored – 1st: Adrian Malthouse – MGA. Two cars in class
    Best All Rounder – 1st: Steve Fletcher – MGB. Nine cars in class
    2nd: Peter Parker – MGTD
    3rd: Mike Lay - MGBGT
    Most used – 1st: Robin Albert – MGA. Six cars in Class.
    2nd: Peter and Diana Calvert – MGB V8

    Car of Show – Pat Burgess – MGJ2.

     "We are proposing to start up a West Surrey Wanderers to relieve the pressure of numbers on the present Surrey and Sussex Wanderers. We propose that this would take place on the 4th Wednesday of the month. To gauge the likely interest, we should like to hear from people who would support this proposal.   • Autumn Gathering - 24th September 2017 - Chiddingstone Castle, Kent.
    Venue: Once again; This year’s MGCCSE “Autumn Gathering” takes us back to the gothic and picturesque Chiddingstone Castle, in Kent. Last visited by the MGCCSE in 2014; This was a very popular gathering, with well over 100 MG’s attending on the day. There are also over 35 acres of grounds, to explore, along with its large collection of Stuart memorabilia, Egyptian and Japanese artifacts, which can all still be viewed inside the castle, today.   • The Marches Raid – 25th-28th August 2017
    A few years ago we arranged a rally up in this delightful Shropshire countryside, courtesy of two of our prominent SE Centre families who had moved up to this beautiful part of the country. We are now planning a return raid over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and hope that this will attract some of our members.

  • SATURDAY -14th OCTOBER 2017 - Fairmile Natter Visit
    The Fairmile Natter is organising an early Autumn visit to the Unique ,Roger Dudding ,Private Car and Motorbike Collection at Potters Bar.

    Roger Dudding has made 2 fortunes in his business life ,one from the invention of that machine in Casualty,where they give you a ticket to tell you that you are 98th in the queue,and eventually your number flashes up! He is now the lock- up king of Britain ,with thousands Nationwide!
    In between times he's built an extraordinary private collection of Classic cars and bikes ,including some lovely MG's.
    THE FAIRMILE NATTER is organising a tour of the collection by private invitation -a unique chance to see an eclectic mix of vehicles and get up close and personal ,unlike the roped off Museum normality.
    A full buffet will be provided as well as soft drinks , tea and coffee ,throughout the informally guided visit.
    The cost including Buffet and admission is �18 per person - ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ROGER'S PET CHARITY, ST.JOHNS AMBULANCE.
    I have just learnt that a �4 million enhancement of the Collection premises has now been completed in good time for our visit and the venue can now accommodate up to 150 visitors .

  • Valentine’s Treasure Hunt – 12th February 2017
    This year’s event was organised by the Epsom MGOC in conjunction with the MG Car Club SE Centre to which their members were invited. It attracted a good entry
