101 Lakes Challengers named

John Shabushnig of Marshall, Michigan has the distinction of being the first British car enthusiast to complete the 101 Lakes Challenge. John and his wife Vicki covered approximately 2,000 miles in their MGB roadster over a one year period. The Challenge led them to find many new and interesting drives. Their record for visits was 25 lakes in a single day on a drive to Lake Michigan and back.

A few days after receiving John's logbook, and photographic record of his visits, Baird Cook submitted his completed logbook. Baird and his wife Rose, from St. Ann, Missouri, visited lakes in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Hearty congratulations to these 101 Lakes Challengers who will receive a certificate and dash plaque recording their achievement. For further information on this club sponsored event check out the entry on the events page.
