K Series Tuning Parts

THERE ARE MANY TUNING MODS AVAILABLE FOR THE ROVER K SERIES/MGF ENGINES BUT NOW THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT. PETER FISHER THE LEADING AUTHORITY IN OPTIMISING AIR FLOW POTENTIAL FROM CYLINDER HEADS, WAS COMMISSIONED BY MIKE SATUR TO EXTRACT MORE POWER AND MID RANGE TORQUE WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE NORMAL ROAD MANNERS. HAVING SPENT MANY YEARS RESEARCHING AND DEVELOPING HIS TECHNIQUES PETERS RESULTS HAVE BEEN A RESOUNDING SUCCESS BOTH ON AND OFF THE TRACK.

THE FLOW BENCH RESULTS SPEAK FROM THEMSELVES, FROM THAT STANDARD 1.8I CYLINDER HEAD 79 CFM (CUBIC FEET PER MINUTE) FLOW WAS INDICATED, AFTER MODIFICATIONS THIS WAS INCREASED TO 93.5 CFM, ALMOST A 20% INCREASE IN FLOW. WITH FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS WE HAVE PRODUCED A BIG VALVE HEAD NOW GIVING 107.3 CFM, ALMOST 36% MORE FLOW. THIS HAS BEEN ACHIEVED WITH STANDARD LIFT CAMS, BY FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE CAM PROFILES, BUT STILL KEEPING TO HYDRAULIC FOLLOWERS, WE CAN EXTRACT FURTHER POWER WITHOUT THE LOSS OF ENGINE TRACTABILITY, JUST A STREAM OF POWER THE MOMENT YOU HIT THE ACCELERATOR. FULL DYNO FIGURES ARE TO BE PUBLISHED AFTER ROAD TESTING IS COMPLETED.

THE HEADS AND CAMS ARE AVAILABLE ON AN EXCHANGE BASIS TOGETHER WITH HEAVY DUTY CAM BELTS AND SPRINGS.
