50 YEARS OF CLASSIC BRITISH CARS IN AMERICA

Interested in the fascinating -and largely unknown- history of British cars in the US?

British Car Films has just launched a new web site which celebrates 50 years of British car history in the US -including MG. The site contains facts, figures, background information as well as details, pictures and reviews from the revealing series of documentary videos the company has produced on several of Britian's most popular makes which have been sold in the US.

The two MG videos, 100 minutes in length, combine a rich mixture of revealing early racing films and early archive footage, including very rare footage of MGs racing at the first and second Watkins Glen Grand Prix, with fascinating contemporary fooitage which was shot all across the US in recent years.

The site also has a testing British car trivia quiz which will expand the knowledge of any serious British car enthusiast, as well as an informative article on how all British cars were marketed in the US during the golden years of sales in the 1950s and 60s, written by Michael L Cook, the company's former PR manager in New York.

As a special launch offer, anybody purchasing any items from the web site up to Christmas will also receive a great set of classic British car post cards, absolutely free.

The site can be found at: www.british-car-films.com
