The OLIVE GARDEN RAFANELLI Team has today announced the withdrawal of the Ferrari Maranello N° 57 to the ACO managers (see the Team's official press release).
Consequently, and in accordance with the rules, the N° 27 MG, entered by MG SPORT and RACING Ltd, at the top of the list of reserve cars, will be assimilated into the list of those invited to the "24 Heures" Preliminary Practice Sessions, on Sunday 5th May 2002.
The Ferrari Maranello, of the Prodrive Team, now heads the list of reserve cars should there be another withdrawal.
This modification brings the number of prototypes which habe been accepted to 26, including 7 LMP 675s.
The "24 Heures du Mans" will take place on the 15th and 16 June 2002.
