KNIGHTHAWK’S MG LOLA FEATURED IN OCTOBER RACER MAGAZINE

MG Lola KnightHawk Racing’s beautiful midnight black and halloween-orange MG Lola 675 LMP is the featured race car in RACER Magazine’s October issue. The car is stunningly portrayed in a six-page section of the must-have mag’s “In Focus” section.

“The LMP 675 category is a technically interesting class for lightweight, smaller-engined sports racing cars,” said RACER’s Editor at Large, John Zimmermann. “The KnightHawk MG Lola is the most visually arresting example of the breed we’ve seen yet, so it was a natural for our In Focus section.”

After running up against a variety of scheduling and logistic nightmares the car was delivered to the magazine’s photographer directly following the Sears Point American Le Mans Series race - and before being shipped back to France for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“I get RACER every month, and like most die-hard motorsport fans the first thing I look for is motorsport’s version of the Playboy ‘centerfold’ RACER’S In Focus section”, said team co-owner and driver Mel Hawkins. “I’m proud that RACER featured our MG Lola in this month’s issue it looks fantastic!”

The pictorial begins with a two-page layout with a direct front view of the low-slung prototype while the third and fourth pages feature a close-up shot of the car’s cockpit along with a diagram describing each and every component. The final two pages include “corner” shots from both front and rear, as well as a birds-eye view from above with the car’s carbon fiber skin both on and off. Also shown is the car’s two-liter MG power plant

“RACER has always set the standard for first-rate motorsports coverage. It is a privilege to have our MG Lola highlighted in their In Focus section. We’re very pleased with the way the pictorial came out. It looks as good in the pictures as it does in person,” said team co-owner and driver Steve Knight.
