The survey, now in its second year, incorporated responses from over 25,000 readers and website users commenting on 10 key areas: Build quality, Performance, Ride, Handling, Comfort, Braking, Gearbox, Practicality, Steering and Reliability.
The Rover 75 achieved an outstanding result beating the Renault Laguna and the VW Passat in 8 out of 10 categories.
Commenting on the report, John Sanders, MG Rover Group Sales and Marketing Director said: "The Driver Power survey recognises the strong position we have with the Rover brand for comfort and the MG Brand for sporting appeal.
