Three-times Olympic Gold-medal winner Matthew Pinsent CBE is working with MG Rover Group, Official Car Supplier to Team GB, during 2004 to promote a number of the company’s initiatives. Initially, Matthew features in a new dual-brand (Rover and MG) TV commercial, being aired today, promoting the company’s ‘Three years of Freedom’ campaign.
Matthew will also appear at the Geneva Motor Show (March 2) for a product reveal at 11.15am on the MG Rover Group stand (5141, Hall 5) with the formal reveal of the latest 2004 model-year Rover 75 and MG ZT product range.
Commenting on the initiative, Matthew said: "I’m delighted to be promoting the MG Rover Group’s ‘Three years of Freedom’ offer. Rover is a British company and the Official Car Supplier to Team GB. I recognise the importance this makes to the British Olympic Association and athletes, in the build up to the Athens Olympics in August. I’m also delighted to support Rover in its Centenary year."
