K SERIES WINS AGAIN!

Anthony Reid Anthony Reid took the top step of the podium for the final race of the day at Donington Park in an absolutely action packed touring car classic.

Lining up second on the grid alongside fellow Scot John Cleland, it is fair to say that Anthony didn’t make a clean get away. But, it wasn’t long before he was back on form passing Tim Harvey to claim third spot with John Cleland back in his sights.

Anthony passed John Cleland before gravel on the circuit meant the deployment of the safety car on lap 8, bunching the field up ready for a thrilling re-start. At the start of lap 12 Anthony passed fellow current BTCC competitor Jason Plato to take the lead.

The safety car was yet again deployed to retrieve Kelvin Burt and repair a tyre wall. The race re-started once again from which Anthony went on to take the chequered flag and the BTCC Masters crown.
