I have been using this shop for over 2 years now. It is by far the most in depth service I have ever recieved. They have worked on all of my British cars, 76 Midget, 59 Morris Minor, 72 MGB. The owner and mechanic is extremely helpful in providing extensive information on any subject in dealing with the care and maintenance, and upgrading of my vehichles. I have found their work to be very complete and through. I no of no british garage that can even come close to this one. I would recommend them to anyone.

Nationally-known MG restoration experts, with expertise in all models of MG from pre-war to 1980. Sells parts new & used, and often has MGs for sale. SU & Z-S carburetor rebuilding a specialty. (They are the supplier of Moss Motors' rebuilt carbs.)

Most services are offered, with the exception of paint and body. Privately owned by a British couple. Chris has earned his apprentice-ship while in the UK working on these cars (MGs, Triumphs,Hillman, Sprites, etc..). Cars he has worked on includean engine rebuild on my MGB, and other people's Triumph Stag, Hillman, and Austin Healey. Some cars he has worked onhave won awards at shows. He is VERY fair and wants to keep you as a customer. I went to a few places in the Los Angeles area and I was over charged for work that was not done correctly. NOT recommended by Philppe Tusler (PTUSLER@po9.mv.unisys.com): This is, I'm afraid, a recommendation to NOT use the above service. My experience with them is in having purchaseda supposedly rebuilt transmission, finding it wasn't rebuilt,and having them attempt to repair it three times. The outcome was that I had to double-clutch second gear untilthe laygear bearings went. The subsequent rebuild at adifferent provider showed worn, damaged, and incorrectparts used in the previous rebuild. All attempts to havethe situation rectified were rebuffed. Their work and attitude is unprofessional and sloppy.
Also Not recommended by Marc Millaire (millairem@cox.net): This is to "not recommend" these poeple.At the end of last year the owner of BMC was given $200.00 to purchase a E.G.R valve for my midget so i could get it to smog.I haven't heard from him since.I think they are now out of business and my cash will never be seen again! Need to get a referral on getting my 79 midget serviced and smogged for the comming summer.
