Batemans Brewery Tour
Saturday 30th April
37 members were greeted with a free half pint of their choice and then enjoyed a very informative tour with our Guide Anne around the Victorian Brewery and the modern one in use today.
Supper was served in the Restaurant by Stuart, Edward and Harry Bateman, and was very tasty indeed. Samples of the Batemans beers, including a special beer to celebrate VE Day and only available during May 2005, was enjoyed by us all in the windmill bar.
