Jubilee Trophy Navigational Rally

Sunday 9th April

It all started with teas, coffees and bacon butties at the Muskham Ferry, North Muskham. Soon everyone was settling down to plotting points and route planning with their OS maps and the April naviscat was under way.

The reference points were along the lanes of north Nottinghamshire. Drivers and navigators soon set off on their way to find the elusive answers and keep to the shortest route, even if this involved the odd short cut through the woods!

A couple of hours later cars started to return to the Muskham Ferry with their answer sheets. More, tea, coffee and drinks while the results were being processed and checked. In third place were Mike Hewson and Norman Fisher in their MG Maestro. In joint second place were Caroline Hewson and Jon Davison in their Y Type and Kevin Pateman and Ian Mackenzie in their MGB. Congratulations to the winners of the Jubilee Trophy John and Sheila Laurence in their MGB and well done to everyone who took part.
