Games Night
Monday 28 May

At the last minute the Bricklayers Natter on 28th May had to be relocated to the Admiral Nelson pub' at Benington. It was a glorious evening, just right for a couple of hours in the garden having a go at the Games Night which was based on the popular TV show "The Cube". For this occasion we did not lock people in a box, make them wear a strange mask or have a flashing floor but some of the games were just as challenging. And don't try these at home folks - we will have a whole new set of games for the next time so there's no point in practising!!

Cars start to assemble at the Admiral Nelson on a beautiful sunny evening
Sue shows exactly how the Box Swap game should be played
Necessary refreshments on the way
Roger shows there is nothing to it when he plays Balance - yes, the ball is balanced on the edge of a 10ft plank!
This one takes concentration - as Wendy demonstrates. The ball has to be moved along the plank edge with just one finger.
Emma was the overall winner of the evening and here tried out the left to right method.

Dean training for the Ashes - a great catch in the offing, but it bounced out!

St Georges Day Celebrations!

Held at the Admiral Nelson due to boiler problems at the Bricklayer's Arms. Please note this was only for the April Natter.

The Natter on Monday 23 April was themed "Red and White Night" in recognition of St. Georges Day. The theme was open - "wear what you like, bring what you like, as long as it's either red or white".

I think that's Geoff and Vicki but something's different!?!

Above Vicki enjoying the atmosphere

Left Emma & Tina have gone to great lengths.

Thanks to Emma & Joe for the fantastic photographs!
