IT WILL bring festive cheer to Worldwide MG Enthusiasts - the exciting news that the dates for MGLive! 2011 have now been confirmed by the world famous MG Car Club.

The World's largest MG event will assume centre stage at Silverstone on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June. MG owners will also be excited to learn that the superlative MGLive! race programme will take place on the full Silverstone F1 Arena circuit.

Plans are well underway to make the world's largest MG event better than ever before.

2011 will represent the 61st staging of the MG Car Club's annual Silverstone gathering with attendees from a dozen different nations expected to attend.

MGLive! 2011 aims to build on the success of the 2010 event when over 20,000 classic car enthusiasts descended on Britain's premier race circuit.

The action-packed weekend will boast a full racing programme, an adrenaline laced arena timetable, a bustling traders' city along with high-profile MG car displays.

MG Car Club General Manager Julian White said:
"The growth of MGLive! over the past two years has been astounding and we’re excited about continuing this progression into 2011.
MGLive! has quickly developed into one of Britain’s highest profile classic car events. We’ve worked tirelessly to secure the Silverstone’s F1 circuit for 2011 and its terrific news for the MG Car Club that we’ve been afforded the opportunity to use such a prestigious track.
It underlines just how much respect MGLive! commands in wider motoring circles. Indeed the MGLive! brand is now global with the Chinese MG Car Club staging an MGLive! event which is modelled on our own Silverstone celebration.
We've actively sought feedback from MG Car Club members about what they’d like to see at MGLive! and suggestions we've gleaned will be put into place.
MGLive! is the world's largest MG event and we’re excited about what the organising committee can achieve in 2011."
