NEC Show sets a record attendance

A new record attendance was set by the National Classic Motor Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham recently when a total of 27,000 classic car enthusiast poured through the turnstiles.
The exhibition manager said "This must be the best average daily attendance at any classic car show in Britain".

The show was supported by all the major car clubs which included the MGCC, who scooped the award for the best club event of 1996 - The International Meeting at Silverstone.
