Classic Cars

Dear MG Enthusiasts,

There have been some big changes at the "Special Car Journal" (SCJ) http://www.specialcar.com and we want to let our friends on the Web know about them.

Most exciting is the inclusion within SCJ of "Thoroughbred and Classic Cars Online" (T&CC). It is an Emap Magazine known outside North America as "Classic Cars" and is the oldest and highest circulation classic car magazine in the UK. We at SCJ are very proud to have been chosen to design, create, launch and host the online edition of T&CC starting with the April 1996 edition. We will be presenting feature articles from the magazine as well as the "Discovered" section, written by Michael Ware, Curator of the British National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. We hope that you will take the opportunity to visit SCJ to look at both the main journal and T&CC online. We also hope you will update your links to us accordingly.

Many of you will also be aware that at the beginning of the year SCJ expanded to include its first single marque section. At that time we began hosting Mark Davidson's Forza Ferrari Canada page, which is among the best Ferrari pages on the WWW. We hope to expand our single marque section still further starting with a Porsche page. If you would like to recommend a good Porsche page, we are open to suggestions.

We have recently reorganized the magazine to make it easier to read, easier to use and faster to load. We have also passed a couple of minor milestones as our Classified Ads section grew to over 4000 Special Cars and our list of Links grew to 300. We expect growth in both areas to accelerate.

We hope that you will visit us soon at SCJ, and we thank you for remaining linked to us.

Best wishes,

Adam Fox
