Floor Boards Tech Tip

If you are installing your floor boards and plan on sealing the area around them, be sure to put the sealant on the outside of the seam. It is also best to do it on the bottom of the car to keep out dirt and moisture. If you put the sealant between the boards and the frame rails you will have a very difficult time removing the boards should you have to. With the sealant on the outside, you can easily run a knife around the edges.
