MG OWNERSHIP OPENS DOORS AT HAREWOOD HOUSE

Press release
Date: Monday 26th June

MG owners and their families are being offered free entry at Harewood House, the spectacular Yorkshire home of the Earl and Countess of Harewood on Sunday, 2 July.

All they have to do is to arrive in their MG car and the delights of Harewood and its beautiful grounds will be theirs.

The offer is being made to celebrate Harewood's 50th anniversary of being open to the public and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the MG Car Club.

A spokesperson for Harewood House, which is located between Leeds and Harrogate, said:

" The local MG owners club are unfortunately unable to hold their annual rally at Harewood this year, so we thought it would be a nice gesture, in view of the two anniversaries, to make this offer so that owners are not disappointed.

We look forward to seeing as many different examples of this famous marque as possible."

Other attractions at Harewood House are the bird garden, terrace gallery, children's adventure playground, lake side walks, a Chippendale exhibition with a recently restored Chippendale State Bed, all of which are free for MG owners and all those that arrive in the car.
