MG Race Cars Wanted

The North American MG Council is sponsoring MG 2001 in St. Paul Minnesota. The event will run from Monday July 2 until Saturday July 7. On Thursday July 5th we want to have as many vintage race cars as possible for a static display of MG Vintage racing. On Friday July 6th. the feature event of the day will be a parade of Vintage race cars on the track at the Minnesota Fairgrounds. The race track is a 1/2 mile asphalt and will be set up as a modified road course. A track announcer will describe each car as it pulls onto the track. The cars will go out one at a time and do about 5 parade laps.

WE NEED YOUR CAR TO PARTICIPATE !!

Mark Brandow of Quality Coaches is coordinating this event and wants as many cars as possible to attend. There is no limit to the amount of cars that can participate. We especially want the cars that are not street legal and are normally not able to participate in any other conventional driving events. we want current and former MG race cars, restored MG's built as race cars, and cars such as C types Q types and K3's. You will have a secured parking area for your car as well as trailer storage. If you are not able to drive your car, we still need it for the static display. MG 2001 will be the largest gathering of MG's ever in North America. We need you and your car to make it a success.
