MG ROVER GROUP TAKE ORDERS FOR £1 MILLION AT THE BRITISH INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW

On the opening day of the British International Motor Show, MG Rover Group has taken orders for new cars to the value of £1 million at showroom prices. The cars are mainly destined for the retail market, but include a fleet order where the business has been conquested from a close rival.

The Company is actively selling vehicles from its stand and a number of "motor show special offers" have been made available. For those customers not able to visit the National Exhibition Centre, the MG Rover dealer network is able to offer similar terms over the motor show period.

Without question, the newly announced MG XPOWER SV has created a huge amount of interest with its stunning good looks and supercar performance. The car is displayed on the MG Rover Group stand along with the current range of MG and Rover products plus a concept car which gives a firm indication of the Rover design direction.
