Meet once a month on the second Tuesday of each month at John's Pizza Restaurant on Ridgecrest Blvd. We have 30 members with most Marques represented.
Ridgecrest is located at the Southeast end of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Southern California in the Mojave Desert. It is about 2 hour drive North of Los Angeles. Being in the desert we have the advantage of NO RUST. I've seen many cars that have sat in the desert for decades and have less rust than 3 year old cars on the coast. We also have very nice weather with rain only a few times a year. However, in the summer highs routinely reach in the low 100's! which makes for uncomfortable driving in the LBC's except in the mornings and evenings.

The Classic MG Club was founded in 1963 and has been a leading MG organization in Florida ever since. Monthly meetings are held on the Third Thursday of the month, followed by a post meeting get together at a restaurant where the members bond in fellowship. There is an event at least once a month that involves driving the cars. Every year, we hold an overnight tour to a quaint hotel or B & B in October and January. Many of our events have become tradition like the November Flankey Picnic, which has been held annually for over thirty years. With the coming of the electric media, we find we have no need for annual dues to run the Club. We joke, "we don't have dues, but it cost $15 to quit." No other club can make that statement. If you have a love for MG automobiles and an e-mail address, you are most welcome to be part of the CLASSIC MG CLUB.

MG/Sports Car Club in McHenry County, IL
Is anyone out there interested in forming a MG/Sports Car Club in McHenry County, IL?
Just organizing fun events, tours, whatever? Chicagoland Club seems too far east for regular meetings and British Boots and Bonnets (Rockford) seems too far West to me.
I can only offer guaranteed disorganization and sporadic participation (read: Let's not get hung up on a bunch of rules).
If this has irresistable appeal to you (how can it not), please let me know.

Each month in addition to our breakfast we have a fun event sponsored by one of the members (see Calendar Section). Sometimes we have a pot luck backyard BBQ at one of our homes or perhaps a country drive ending in a local restaurant. In the past we've also visited local automobile museums, car shops, joined a local 'cruise night' with other clubs, or just met at a local ice cream shop with our cars. Everyone is invited 'singles and couples' and it's always a fun time when you drive as a group in our LBC's (Little British Cars).

It would be nice to start a British Car Club here in central Montana USA. I am in Great Falls Montana and there are no clubs for British Cars or any small sports cars that I can find. I am flexible about just what the club would do, but basically have a support group for information, parts, mechanics, education and mix in some fun such as having a rally, or "get together". Possibly join in with other groups from other States on occasion and support local parades etc. Please contact Jacque if you would like to take part.
