The North East's Biggest Ever Classic Vehicle Show

More than 900 classic vehicles are expected to return to Corbridge on 2nd July 2017 to raise money for charitable and good causes. Making MG Northumbria's Classics in Corbridge at Tynedale Park, the biggest ever show in the north east.

Having grown from only 60 vehicles in 1997, the show will contain cars of all makes including some extremely rare models, as well as commercial vehicles, motor bikes and sports cars. There will be entertainment for all the family, including live music from Prelude and Tex Leon and friends. Plus dog agility display, fun dog show, Flight simulator, 68th Durham regiment of foot Re-enactment, Vintage Bicycles, Barnacre Alpacas, archery and children's rides. There will also be a wide range of traders, refreshments and charity stalls.

Nearly £72,000 has been raised in the last eight years - including over £12,000 from last year's show - which has been donated to local causes benefiting people in the area. The club hopes to continue this year by raising even more money. With profits again being donated to local charities and voluntary organisations, MG Northumbria are inviting applications from such organisations and those interested in applying should send email to address below. classiccorbridgecharities@gmail.com

The show opens to the public at 11.00 with the presentation of awards for a number of categories including the best vehicle in the show at 4pm. The show site is easily accessed by rail via the Newcastle to Carlisle line run by Arriva.
