The MGF Cup is for the professional Driver /Team, and all the cars come from Rover powered by identical modified 'K' series engines. All the drivers have been vetted to prove that they will not disgrace themselves or the championship!
Purchase price of a brand new race car, which is not for road use, is a mere £24k.
Then they have got to run it for a season!
