Rick was already slowly assembling the parts to build an MGB-GT V8
conversion when this one came up at a good price on eBay, and he decided
it wasn't worth the trouble of doing it himself. All the components
proved to be in pretty good shape, the only problem being that the
conversion had been very poorly executed. Rick took a year rebuilding
most of it and it's now drivable with only some suspension and back-axle
issues to tackle. The car is powered by an Oldsmobile 215 engine driving
through a Rover SD1 5-speed transmission. |
