Summer
is officially behind us, but with the club's annual Fall Colour Tour
on October 15th, there's still one last chance for a top down drive.
Beginning as usual at the 8 Mile and Haggerty Meijer's parking lot,
we'll be repeating the scenic 100-mile (round trip) route that
seemed such a hit last year.

Three stops are planned -- for cider, snacks, and yes, even dinner
-- but easy return directions will be noted for those not wanting to
go the entire distance. To allow more time for sightseeing than
street sign hunting, most driving instructions will only occur at
road ends or Stop signs.
With the shorter daylight, plan on assembling by 11 AM for the
usual photo opportunity. The drivers need to assemble at 11:30 to
exchange cell phone numbers and cars should begin rolling by 12 noon
to allow lots of time for the scheduled breaks.
Sunshine, warmth and fall colour? It has happened before.
