Gordie Bird learned to love
driving an MGA early as it was his very first car. And his third and his
... Anyway, this '62 MK II was purchased in summer of 1998 sight unseen
from an "older" gentleman in Iowa City, Iowa. Since then, Gordie and his
wife Tracey have driven it anywhere and everywhere as is evidenced by
this picture of a recent gymkhana in southeast Ohio. Gordie and Tracey
are the third owners and it has never had the body off. It's not a show
winner, but a very dependable and solid driver.
