The Hibernation party
and Annual General Meeting was held at the Windsor Yacht Club on
February 21, 2004. The 73 guests in attendance enjoyed a fabulous
dinner, and danced to some great 50's and 60's tunes belted out by Hoagy
and Friends. As always there were many gifts to be won and this
year the tables were teeming with fabulous and varied donations from
members and associated businesses.
The measure of a
party’s success is often gauged by how late the revelers stick around,
and by that yardstick I’d say this year’s party was up there with the
best. As a parting gift, each guest received a pilsner glass etched
with the WDMGC logo (and filled with goodies) and a TYCO insulated mug
containing a “church key”.
