| Although John & Nancy Zajac
spend about equal time driving this beautiful car, Nancy wants there to
be no doubt that this is "HERBE" and not his, and indeed John does have
a 1973 MGB GT of his own. Nancy has had the car since 1996.
Guy St. John, who has done work on the
car, believes it to be one of the most original around, so much so that
it can be used as a reference for anyone wanting to know how a 1972 B
should look. The interior, and especially the dash, is superb and a look
under the bonnet, see above, shows that even the emissions equipment is
still where it should be. The only obvious foreigner is the Bosch coil,
that was changed on the road after an ignition problem made them suspect
the Lucas original, although it now appears that a bullet connector was
probably to blame.
