1974 MG Midget

Here is a picture of Steve and Ruth Swarin’s recently completed 1974 MG
Midget. It doesn't look like a Midget does it? That's because they did
it "their way". Starting with an (almost) rust-free, round wheel arch
Midget, they first replaced the dying 4-speed transmission with a
5-speed Datsun-Rivergate unit. Then they replaced the front clip with a
Spridgetech bugeye bonnet. Then it was off to body and paint craftsman
Larry Mulanix, who created an outstanding piece of automobile
sculpture. Add rare Astrali wheels and new MGOC interior components,
and the result is this one-of-a-kind Spridget.
