Picture of the Month

October 2003

Here is this month's picture. We hope to update this feature with a fresh picture every month. Please contact me via our Contact Us page and asking me to contact you for a picture. We have changed our email contact procedures in order to prevent spammers so apologies for any inconvenience. Ideally they should be of something special, a special location and your Y, an interesting close up shot of a lesser seen part of a Y that you think will be of help or interest to others, etc.

This month, and next, the Picture of the Month will recall the Spring Run 2003 and the meeting of two long separated "sister" cars that met for the first time in almost 56 years.  Pushed up the line together at Abingdon Y 0363 (right) and Y 0364 (left) were then separated "at birth" and sold in Oxford and Birmingham respectively.  Almost brings a tear to the eye ...!
