David Pelham's Yorkshire Dales Tour - 1993 
Another of David Pelham's "home movie" collection, this time from the Yorkshire Dales Tour of 1993.

David Pelham's Silverstone - 1997
David Pelham shot this "home movie" in 1997 at Silverstone when the MG Y Type celebrated it's Golden Jubilee with loads of MG Ys present and three "parade" laps of the circuit. Owners were asked to "drive" their cars around the circuit for three laps ... but needless to say, they were very determined to give great spectator value to the audience and gave a great show. Sadly there is no footage of the laps from David, but you do see all the cars lined up in the Paddock with Frank Vautiers's MG Y upfront and also the redoubtable Dennis Doubtfire marshalling us all into line!

My Week With Marilyn (2011)
"In the early summer of 1956, 25 year-old Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne) just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of "The Prince and The Showgirl", the film that famoulsy united Sir Lawrence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) and Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams), who was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott).
"Nearly 40 years on, his diary account The Prince, the Showgirl and me, was published, but one week was missing and this was published some years later as My Week with Marilyn - this is the story of that week. When Arthur Miller leaves England, the coast is clear for Colin to introduce Marilyn to some of the pleasures of British life; an idyllic week in which he escorted a Monroe desperate to get away from her retinue of Hollywood hangers-on and the pressure of work."

In The Iron Lady (2011), an elderly Margaret Thatcher (Meryl Streep) talks to the imagined presence of her recently deceased husband as she struggles to come to terms with his death while scenes from her past life, from girlhood to British Prime Minister, intervene. The real star though has to be the MG Y!
