From the Ground Up (1950)
"From the Ground Up" was a short 15 minute documentary film directed by Cyril Frankel and starring Clive Dunn and Jack Ralph made in 1950. the MG Y Type can briefly be seen in the background on the left of the monument in the still.
Ruth Rendell Mystery - A Dark Adaptive Eye
"A Dark Adaptive Eye" is a psychological mystery/thriller movie made for TV in 1994, adapted from Ruth Rendell's novel of the same name, depicts a family on the edge. Two sisters, the elder obsessive Vera, and the younger, manipulative Eden, cut a path of jealousy, murder and revenge that leads to the destruction of their entire family. The MG Y Type appears in episode 2.
Unforgotten (2015)
"Unforgotten" is a British TV Series in 2015. The plot is set as the Police begin to investigate when the bones of a young man are found under the footings of a demolished house 39 years after his murder. The MG Y appears in Series 1, Episode 1.

Lease of Life (1954)
Lease of Life is a British movie made in 1954 about a parson of a small rural community who knows he is dying and this makes him reconsider his life so far and what he can still do to help the community. Unfortunately the still is to blurred to make out the licence plate of the MG Y.
Lass es Liebe sein (2009) 
Rosamunde Pilcher - Lass es Liebe sein (Let There Be Love) is a German movie made in 2009 about Tom Richmond refused, although gifted, to succeed his father George as CEO of the family's private bank, to run an old-timer restoration firm with buddy David Fenner. It's love at first sight when Tom meets younger student Natalie Blum from Georgia, who is however focused on her intern job in the bank, as George's assistant to assess to damage caused by a trusted, disloyal key employee. George, who left Tom and his mother years ago, presumably for a younger woman, falls for Natalia, but she won't commit without love, despite pleas to be 'sensible' from her brother Victor, who points out they must provide for her young son Sascha. The MG Y/T shown in the titles is Y/T EXR 3253 currently owned by Anil Koshti.

Huihun ye (1962) 
Made in 1962 in Hong Kong, Huihun ye (The Haunted Night) is an unauthorised reprise of Hitchcock's Vertigo. The film is based on the same plot with some alterations, most significantly the detective is prone to a heart attack instead of vertigo.
Agent Carter (2015)
Set in 1946 (so it actually predates the MG Y's birth by one year) Peggy Carter is relegated to secretarial duties in the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR). When Howard Stark is accused of treason, he secretly recruits Peggy to clear his name with the help of his butler, Edwin Jarvis. The MG Y appears in Season 2 Episode 8. Agent Carter was made in 2015 - 2016 as a TV series.
