I was wondering how best to celebrate the seventh birthday of the website, when I got the best present possible - another car to add to the Ys on Parade - from Anil Koshti. So, today, please welcome Anil and YT 3253 to Ys on Parade.

The puzzles have all been consolidated onto one page too (though still accessible via the link to the left of this panel), and for those that like them, I have added a Word Search puzzle too.

Today I even found a picture of my own car on Flickr, so it too has been added to the Flickr page!  Additionally, a new video from John Twist and University Motors has been added to the Technical Videos page.  Although the reference car used to find Top Dead Centre (TDC) was an MGB, the technique can equally be applied to any engine.

Also, the mid-month Reprinted Article has been added - this time from 16 August 1949.

Please welcome Igal Brickman, the new owner of YT 4127 to Ys on Parade.  It is always nice to be able to welcome new cars, and new owners, however, Igal is also the first owner in Israel to feature on this website so please also greet a new country on the Parade too!

9 April 2009

Today please welcome George Campbell, the new owner of Y 7009 (previously on the Parade) and YB 1351 (a car that we previously did not know had survived!!) to Ys on Parade, thank you George!  We now have 100 YBs on show too!!

The Flickr page also continues to be regularly updated, sometimes several times a day!

Four more classic photographs have been added to the Collectibles page, three of YB 1551, and one featuring YBs 0414 and 0480.

More photographs have also been added to the Flickr page by kind permission of the photographers.  This page is currently being constantly updated by me as returns come in from the Flickr photographic community so I have temporarily added a "last updated" tag just below the title.  Please check the page and see if it has been updated since you last looked!

This month's Reprinted Article comes the New Zealand publication Classic Wheels, is entitled "We Drive A Slice Of '38 in '53" and was published in May/June '94!  A new Picture of the Month has also been added.

Following a trawl through the Flickr website (www.flickr.com) a larger number of MG Y Type photographs have been found.  Some of these we have already obtained copyright permission to bring to you on this website too - others we are still working on.  Click here to go to the new Flickr page.  More will be added soon as permissions come in so watch this space.
