Some more sad news for Y Type owners is given below as reported to me by Karl Borchers. I will miss Norbert too and my thoughts are for his family now. With a shock we heard the news that our friend Norbert Lange has gone end of May 2014 suddenly and unexpectedly from us. Norbert was the German MG Car Club MG active and many friends known internationally. He also wrote a list of MG Memorabilia. http://www.mgcc.de/images/stories/mgkurier/gesamtverzeichnis/mg_tab.pdf. A truly octagonal heart has stopped beating. We miss him very much. His well-kept MG YB 1168 is now due to this death for sale. Please see the Classified Adverts page for details. Webmaster

The International MG Y Type Register has created a Tribute Page to permanently honour one of our founders and a most wonderful man — David Pelham. We miss our dear friend, never forgotten. One of the Charities the family specifically nominated for donations was the British Heart Foundation and there is a DONATE button on this page and we hope that you too will please contribute generously to this worthy cause in memory of David. Thank you. Also, at this time following the passing of long time Y Type owner and Japanese International Representative of the International MG Y Type Register Masaaki Sakaguichi,, our thoughts are with Masaaki's widow Keiko Sakaguchi, their son Kentarou and daughter Yuki. Long time visitors to this site will recall that Kentarou drew a great Christmas Card that is on the Artist's Impression page when he was aged 11.
