In response to a question on the Bulletin Board on front and rear hub pullers and what they should look like, we realised we had a gap in the provision of information concerning the Special Tools that a dealer would have had available to him. So, we have added a Special Tools page to the Technical Centre pages for you.

Also, today, please welcome Peter Vielvoye as the new owner of Y 4276 to Ys on Parade. Peter also owns YT 2731 and is currently Chairman of the MG Car Club Y Type Register too.

y70111992y70112002David Pelham is organising a Y Type Tour in Brittany during the second week of September. The Tour will depart from Portsmouth on the 9th September at 07:00 and will return on Friday 14th September in the early evening. There will be stop overs in Normandy on both the outward and return journeys. The base hotel will be near Ploermel which will be the base camp for three nights.

Numbers are strictly limited, as a Family Run hotel is being used, it will be 'first come first served basis', so please contact David directly if interested for more details.

A handy conversion from Fractions to Decimals to Millimetres has been added to the Technical Data page and also to the Downloads to the left of this page.

Today, please welcome, Richard Knight, owner of three MG YBs, with his third MG YB YB 0824 to Ys on Parade. I am sure in time this one will be restored to the high standard of his other YB 0655 too. Thank you Richard for sharing that with us.

Richard has also recommended Lincon Batteries of the UK who have been added to our Links page.

Finally, we are delighted to also add the MG Car Club Y Type Register notes from December 2011 Safety Fast as part of our mutual cooperation agreement. These notes concentrate on a profile of Dennis Doubtfire, who has been one of the instrumental people (along with the likes of John Lawson and David Lawrence) in putting MG Y Types in the forefront of the public domain for many years. Dennis is certainly one of the most charming of people, a real gentleman and I read the notes with much enjoyment, well done Jerry - great choice of topic!
